Safety

It´s our middle name

Tony Berglund has a background in the special forces were he underwent military training in Vertical Run in the late eighties. He has operated his own business as adventurer and photographer for eleven years and is active in areas such as skydiving, alpine climbing, rappelling, scubadiving and sea kayaking.

All equipment is CE marked and meets UIAA's standard requirements. Our instructors have total control of the vertical speed during the run. In addition, there is a backup system with a separate safety line connected to the harness so that the staff who are positioned on the roof also have full control over the descend speed during the entire run.

Vertical Run uses the same technique that of the inventors from Australia. They have since its inception in 1989 carried out over 400 000 runs with a hundred percent safety record.
